Plus One brings learner evidence, educator expertise, and trusted expert methodology together around each learner goal. It helps the special education team plan instruction, coordinate support across the school day, and use evidence to decide what comes next.

The challenge

A learning goal is not an instructional path.

An Individualized Education Program (IEP) sets individualized goals and supports. The education team still has to connect what the learner can do now with prerequisites, instruction, practice, reinforcement, and ways to observe progress.

  • Individual planning has to fit between teaching, paperwork, and meetings.
  • One small group can bring together learners with different goals and starting points.
